Jabil is seeking an Automation Equipment Technician to implement new technology for assembly of automation equipment, electronic control wiring, and testing processes. The role ensures smooth transfer of automation equipment to mass production units for scalable manufacturing.

Responsibilities include developing automation machinery, performing tests, and delivering documentation to production teams. Experience with SMT, Wave Soldering, and Fuji machinery is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT processes and equipment.
• Experience with wave soldering operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Experience with Fuji equipment is desirable.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT, PTH and Backend manufacturing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Develop automation equipment based on design requirements; ensure machinery quality.
• Assist in design discussions to address potential automation equipment issues; ensure timely delivery of vendor parts.
• Participate in functional testing after automation equipment completion to verify performance.
• Create automation system documents and share know-how with mass production teams.
• Monitor and improve yield of new automation equipment in daily production; ensure efficient operation.
• Provide 2D/3D drawings of new automation devices and optimize designs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Implements new technology development and assembly of automation equipment machinery, electronic control wiring, and new technology to test machine problems. Implements smooth transfer of automation equipment to production units for mass production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Based on design requirements conducts automation equipment development, assembly; ensures quality of machinery.
• Assists in design phase to discuss potential problems of automation equipment design and assembly; works to ensure timely delivery of vendor equipment parts.
• Participates in functional testing after auto equipment is completed to ensure new equipment works efficiently and effectively.
• Participates in formulating automation system documents, and delivers Know-how to mass production departments.
• Analyzes, monitors and improves yield rate of new automation equipment from daily production. Ensures new technical equipment runs efficiently and effectively.
• Provides 2D/3D drawing of new auto device and works to enhance optimization of design.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requisitos Adicionales

• Conocimiento en procesos y equipos de SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
• Experiencia en operación y mantenimiento de soldadora de ola (Wave Soldering).
• Interpretación y lectura de diagramas eléctricos.
• Experiencia con maquinaria Fuji (deseable).
