Jabil is seeking a hands-on automation specialist in Mexico to develop and assemble automated equipment, wiring, and test new technology for mass production. You will ensure smooth transfer of automation equipment into production and support documentation and know-how transfer.

Responsibilities include selecting and assembling equipment per design, assisting in design reviews, testing, and optimizing yield.

Formación

• Experience with SMT processes and equipment.
• Experience operating and maintaining wave soldering equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Experience with Fuji machinery is a plus.
• Maintenance of SMT, PTH and Backend manufacturing equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Based on design requirements conducts automation equipment development, assembly; ensures quality of machinery.
• Assists in design phase to discuss potential problems of automation equipment design and assembly; works to ensure timely delivery of vendor equipment parts.
• Participates in functional testing after auto equipment is completed to ensure new equipment works efficiently and effectively.
• Participates in formulating automation system documents, and delivers Know-how to mass production departments.
• Analyzes, monitors and improves yield rate of new automation equipment from daily production. Ensures new technical equipment runs efficiently and effectively.
• Provides 2D/3D drawing of new auto device and works to enhance optimization of design.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Implements new technology development and assembly of automation equipment machinery, electronic control wiring, and new technology to test machine problems. Implements smooth transfer of automation equipment to production units for mass production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Based on design requirements conducts automation equipment development, assembly; ensures quality of machinery.

Requisitos Adicionales:

• Conocimiento en procesos y equipos de SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
• Experiencia en operación y mantenimiento de soldadora de ola (Wave Soldering).
• Interpretación y lectura de diagramas eléctricos.
• Experiencia con maquinaria Fuji (deseable).
• Ejecución de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en equipos de manufactura de SMT, PTH y Backend.
