Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a driven LRU Field Support Expert to own in-service reliability for GE LEAP engine LRUs. You will drive service bulletins, technical reviews, and field problem containment while coordinating with OEMs and airlines.

Responsibilities include leading root cause investigations, working closely with ESD&I and reliability teams, and presenting technical data to airframers. A 24/7 availability mindset is required to support fleet operations globally.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; related field.
• Deep knowledge of electrical and fuel systems in aviation.
• Field support/design/manufacturing experience on aviation engine components.
• Experience with engine hardware or components and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations and how to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate assigned projects to meet standards and requirements.
• Guide approaches to meet technical and program requirements.
• Plan to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contracts.
• Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to field problems.
• Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage LRU vendors to track in-service reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data per regulations.
• Monitor project status and communicate with airlines and airframers.
• Lead or participate in reviews and present to customers.
• Collaborate with design/repair teams to improve product reliability.
