Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Looker (with Gemini) Developer to modernize analytics platforms by building LookML semantic models and translating Power BI logic into scalable Looker solutions on Google Cloud.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product Owners to standardize metrics, govern the semantic layer, and leverage Gemini-powered analytics for AI-assisted insights.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Looker development and LookML expertise.
• Translate Power BI reports and logic into Looker models.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with semantic layer governance and KPI definitions.
• Familiarity with GCP, Gemini AI, and enterprise BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain LookML semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Create LookML views, explores, measures, and dimensions with performance in mind.
• Map Power BI queries to Looker-based solutions and support migration efforts.
• Enable Gemini-powered analytics and AI-assisted data exploration.
• Coordinate with data engineers and analysts to govern metrics and data quality.
