Join us in analyzing and deriving strategic insights from Amazon's end-to-end fulfillment network data to drive speed, cost, and volume optimization. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics and supply chain expertise to uncover performance patterns and strategic opportunities across our three key metrics: delivery speed, operational costs, and volume capacity. Working within the Transportation and Network Planning team, you will have the opportunity to make significant impact by developing predictive models and strategic recommendations that shape the future of our transportation network and regional infrastructure decisions.

As a Program Manager II, you will collaborate across multiple teams to develop comprehensive analytics frameworks that simultaneously evaluate speed performance, cost efficiency, and volume capabilities. Your ability to synthesize complex transportation and network data into actionable insights will drive strategic planning across our fulfillment network, balancing service level commitments with cost optimization and capacity utilization. This position offers the chance to influence Amazon's transportation strategy and network design through sophisticated analysis while working with talented professionals dedicated to building the most intelligent, data-driven fulfillment network of the future.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver complex, cross-functional programs focused on network design logistics and fulfillment operations, working autonomously while seeking guidance as needed.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to improve delivery speed metrics month-over-month, making appropriate trade-offs between time, quality, and resources.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify optimization opportunities and develop solutions that enhance the end-to-end fulfillment network performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partner teams to implement network improvements that balance operational efficiency with customer experience.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance system quality and operational excellence across the fulfillment network.
A day in the life

Your typical day involves developing multiple business plans focused on speed metric improvements and tracking month-over-month performance. You'll analyze data from across the fulfillment network, identify opportunities for optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. You'll participate in regular business reviews to share insights and progress updates, while also managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment on key initiatives designed to enhance our fulfillment capabilities.

About the team

We are the Fulfillment Experience team! Fulfillment Experience (FX) performs a centralized function supporting the MX Operations with data, plans, and required systems set up, taking care of the full flow of a customer order. FX team's responsibilities scope covers: Network Strategic Design, Network Transportation Planning, Program Management and External Fulfillment/Reverse Logistics Operations. Our goal is to develop a supply chain network that delivers customer orders in time, at the fastest, lowest cost, and most reliable way.

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
