Job summary

Daimler Truck AG is seeking skilled professionals in Saltillo, Mexico to manage materials flow for the main production line and ensure continuous availability of parts through Kanban and FIFO practices.

The role focuses on unloading, receiving, and tracking K code material, maintaining dock organization, supervising the team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Fluency in Spanish (C1) and English (B1-B2) is required.

Qualifications

• MS, Shoptech, OMT, Kronos proficiency.
• Engineering drawing interpretation.
• Truck Operating System knowledge.
• End of line reports and downtime reports experience.
• English level B1-B2 and Spanish C1.
• Academic background in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Control reception, storage, supply and custody of productive material to guarantee availability at use points.
• Ensure income and discounts of productive material in the electronic system to protect inventory accuracy.
• Supervise personnel attendance, vacations, training matrix, training plan and performance records.
• Review and update missing reports to expedite missing parts and supply to the point of use or offline.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories to verify inventory with Finance.
• Promote and execute continuous improvement projects to sustain CI culture.
• Manage loading/unloading and FIFO to minimize detention costs.
