Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Logistics Material Flow Analyst for night shift in El Salto, Jalisco. You will manage foreign trade and material flow, design and optimize logistics processes, and implement projects with training plans to meet quality, cost, time, and service targets.

You will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment principles while planning personnel deployment. SAP knowledge and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• English advanced is required.
• SAP knowledge or experience is expected.
• Experience setting up domestic transport arrangements.
• Experience setting up cross-border transport and shipments with parcel companies.

Responsibilities

• Disposi­tion of shipping orders, including type, packaging and shipment volume.
• Collect and analyze transport quotations; nominate forwarder for execution.
• Notify forwarder of shipments and coordinate freight within defined criteria.
• Monitor on-time order fulfillment and initiate countermeasures when needed.
• Generate and verify import/export documents and handle customs formalities.

Logistics Material Flow Analyst (Night Shift)

YOUR TASKS

Job Objective

Managing and being responsible for the execution of foreign trade and the execution of material flow to the customer. Designing, optimizing and steering logistic systems and process workflows, as well as implementing selected project orders inclusive training measures.

Ensuring agreed targets are achieved in responsibility according to quality, costs, timing, service and cooperation (Q-C-T-S-C), as well as health & safety and environmental protection principles.

Carrying out and assuming responsibility for quality assurance measures, as well as planning optimum personnel deployment in the respective area of responsibility.

Support Foreign Trade and Customs affairs according to global business process management.

Duties and Responsibilities

A Disposition of shipping orders

1. Definition of shipping type, packaging, volume of shipment within defined framework.


2. Collection and Analysis of quotations for national and international transport. Nomination of forwarder for execution of transport within defined framework.


3. Notification of shipments at forwarder. Disposition of freight volume within defined framework and under consideration of criteria for shipments bundling.


4. Monitoring of on time and correct order fulfillment and initiating counter measures if needed.

B Import / Export

1. Generation of goods accompanying documents (delivery notes, invoices, customs documents, etc.) depending on the mod of shipment and consignee’s specifications as well as verification of the documents regarding completeness and objective accuracy.


2. Handling of regular customs clearing formalities within the organizational framework under consideration of internal, country and customer specific requirements.


3. Monitoring of receipts and transport confirmation documents (e.g. Invoice, customer communication) and forwarding to involved internal departments.
