Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, invites students to join a hands-on internship in Fixed Asset and Logistics support. You will assist with asset inventories, review customs documents, and organize digital records while learning how import records relate to asset management.

The program emphasizes practical experience in logistics, customs compliance, and documentation traceability, with exposure to global manufacturing operations and EH&S considerations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an active student in the 5th, 6th, or 7th semester of a degree program in Logistics, International Trade, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Basic data entry and record management skills.

What You Will Do:

• Fixed Asset Inventory: Support the identification and physical inventory of fixed assets, ensuring accurate documentation and the creation and maintenance of inventory records.
• Customs Documentation Review: Review import customs declarations (pedimentos) in U.S. customs systems to verify the information associated with each fixed asset.
• Customs Record Assignment: Match and assign the corresponding customs declaration to each fixed asset, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
• Customs System Updates: Support updates to customs systems when required to maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records.
• Digital Records Management: Organize, maintain, and manage digital customs files, ensuring documents are properly stored and readily accessible for reference.
• Intermediate English.
