Cainiao Group is seeking a data analyst in Mexico to oversee order backlogs, automate KPI tracking, and manage critical orders. You will work with operations to address delays and optimize inventory visibility using SQL, Excel, and GIS data tools.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1+ year of data analysis experience, and strong English communication. Knowledge of logistics metrics and Mexican postal codes is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Intermediate-to-advanced conversational English proficiency.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis; logistics experience is a plus.
• Experience in planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas; knowledge of SQL and QGIS is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Mexican postal code system is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and analyze the order backlog, identifying operational bottlenecks to ensure supply chain continuity.
• Develop and automate service level indicator tracking, evaluating delivery status to ensure compliance with promised customer delivery times.
• Analyze and manage the lifecycle of critical orders, implementing early warning alerts for delayed orders and coordinating corrective actions with the operations team.
• Control in-transit and warehouse inventory by auditing the visibility of pending packages through system data extraction and consolidation, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Optimize and automate reporting and data extraction to reduce manual workload and improve the accuracy of response time measurements.
• Analyze the root causes of warehouse delays and propose improvements to dispatch processes based on data-driven insights.
