TE Connectivity is seeking a Logistics Planner in Hermosillo, Mexico to manage planning workload, export/import processes, and local processing. You will coordinate outbound/inbound logistics, schedule freight, and ensure on-time delivery with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related logistics field.
• 1–2 years of logistics experience and cross-functional exposure.
• Experience in Logistics Planning, Warehousing, Import/Export processes, 3PL management.
• Proficient English in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound, inbound, and local logistics operations.
• Plan and release daily workload for the distribution center.
• Schedule local and international freight via TMS portals.
• Coordinate dedicated services for urgent requests.
• Monitor end-to-end deliveries and on-time performance.
• Coordinate with customs for smooth material flow.
• Plan daily export units and support warehouse teams.
• Adhere to TE, EHS, and Global Logistics policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve logistics efficiency.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

This position consists of overall logistics activities related to the Planning Workload, Exportation, Importation and Local Processing.

Responsibilities

• Execute Outbound, Inbound, and local logistics operations.
• Plan and release the DC daily workload.
• Schedule local and international freight carriers via TMS portals.
• Schedule dedicated service for urgent requests.
• Monitoring of the deliveries from origin to destination, end to end.
• Management of On-Time Delivery.
• Communication and Coordination with the customs team to have a better flow of material.
• Plan daily exportation units.
• Support on warehouse operations assisting the shipping team.
• Follows the rules and regulations of TE, EHS, and Global Logistics.

What your background should look like

• BS in Industrial Engineering / Business Management / Business and International Trade / or related to Logistics.
• With at least 1-2 years of experience and practitioner in the field of Logistics.
• Must have experience and background in Logistics Planning, Warehousing, Importation & Exportation Process, 3PL Management.
• Customer Care Experience
• Experience in cross-docking and Inbond process is a plus
• SAP knowledge or any related ERP System/Application, Advanced Excel Skills
• Proficient in English verbal and written is a must
• Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of urgency
• Strong teambuilding skills with the warehouse team to achieve quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration.
• Demonstrated personal leadership of cross-functional teams, demonstrating organizational and management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach logical conclusions and decisions. Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decisions-making.
• Experience working in a large, global organization.
• Experience working with a third-party logistics provider.
