Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Logistics Trainee to support the logistics team in optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting and exposure to Valeo's global operations.

You will assist with shipments, inventory checks, data analysis, and reporting while learning Valeo's logistics procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Support inventory management activities, including stock checks, reconciliation, and data entry.
• Participate in the analysis of logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure smooth material flow.
• Learn and apply Valeo's logistics procedures and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing logistics reports and presentations.
• Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing supply chain performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
