Job summary

Edag-Engineering-Gmbh in Mexico is seeking a Logistics Material Disposer to define, monitor, and optimize returnable container management. You will set up container accounts, coordinate with warehouse operations, and manage the container fleet and related processes. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations or returnable container management.
• Experience in supplier management and OEM standards.
• Knowledge of cost, penalties and claims management.
• Experience handling KPIs and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods.
• Fluent English required.
• Temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Define, monitor and ensure targets and KPIs for returnable container management
• Account setup for container accounts and new suppliers
• Coordinate with warehouse operations and interfaces to manage returnable container flow and supply
• Manage the returnable container process (empties) and container fleet
• Identify and align error causes with suppliers and define corrective measures
• Generate emergency orders and identify root causes with suppliers and interfaces (incl. chargeback information)
• Prepare complaints process including analysis with carriers/suppliers

DESCRIPTION

• Define, monitor and ensure targets and KPIs for returnable container management
• Account setup for container accounts and new suppliers
• Ensure cooperation with relevant internal and external interfaces to manage returnable container flow and supply such as warehouse operations, etc.
• Manage the returnable container process (empties) and container fleet.
• Error identification alignment with the supplier with to define measures.
• Generate emergency orders and identify root causes through supplier incl. taking measures such as charge back information to interfaces.
• Preparation of complaints process incl. analysis with carriers/suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience inside the industry with knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse operations, Returnable Container Management and/or similar positions
• Supplier management
• Knowledge of OEMs standards
• Cost, penalties and claims management
• Handling of KPIs
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and internal logistics
• Gather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirements
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Fluent English
