FedEx is seeking a technical expert to contribute to the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, supporting management to achieve divisional goals. The role involves coding, unit testing, and supporting system and integration tests across Digital, IT, Architecture, and Product Development areas.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in systems development, with FedEx experience preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science or related discipline.
• 2+ years experience in systems development; 1 year within FedEx preferred.
• Experience in mainframe or client/server environments as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Code and unit test changes to complex programs from specifications.
• Support testing levels including system and integration tests.
• Document and maintain those programs across related domains.

Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.

Under general supervision, Codes & Unit Tests Changes to Complex Computer Programs From Program Specifications, Supports Test Execution for Additional Levels of Testing Including System Level & Integration Tests, Documents & Maintains Those Programs. Areas of responsibility include: Digital Content, Digital Business Development & Business Readiness, Digital Customer Continuity, Digital Marketing, Digital Product Development, Innovation, Regional IT, Information Security International, Application Development, Regional IT & Field IT, Application Development International , Architecture, Architecture & Application Development International

Skills: Good Accuracy & Attention to Detail, Analytical Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Microsoft Office & PC Skills, Numerical Skills.If position is in mainframe environment, also requires: Systems experience IBM operating systems or microprocessors experience. IMS experience. If position is in a client/server environment also requires experience in systems development and must include experience in distributed systems. Experience using client/server technology, object oriented (OO) development or case tools. Knowledge of software engineering principles.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in Business or Computer Science,or related discipline

Experience: 2+ years experience in systems development; 1 year experience in systems development within FedEx preferred
