Mondelez International in San Luis Potosí, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a high‑volume production line, ensuring on‑plan delivery with safety, quality, and efficiency. You will manage about 100 people across rotating shifts, drive TPM, improve OEE, and coordinate line starts, format changes, and stops.

You will oversee inventory using SAP, monitor payroll related tasks, and develop a skilled team through coaching and succession planning.

Formación

  • Engineering degree in Industrial, Food, or Chemical fields.
  • 4–5 years of supervision experience on a manufacturing floor.
  • Experience leading large teams (>50 people) in high-volume settings.
  • Experience with SAP inventory modules is preferred.
  • Knowledge of TPM and production KPIs (OEE, downtime).
  • Familiarity with BPM and good manufacturing practices.

Responsabilidades

  • Oversee production plans on the floor, ensuring timely, safe, and quality results.
  • Lead and develop a team of ~100 employees across rotating shifts.
  • Identify and implement line improvements to reduce downtime and improve OEE.
  • Coordinate line starts, format changes, and planned stops.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and food safety standards are met.
  • Manage payroll aspects such as overtime and leave; use SAP for inventory control.
  • Apply TPM methodology and promote continuous improvement.

This role helps ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery and line leadership in manufacturing, by leading a key line of the business (technical, system or organization) to deliver results defined by the compelling business need of the site. You ensure that key business results are achieved and for developing others to ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery on the manufacturing line. Using a systematic approach, you use strategic thinking skills to ensure results are sustained over the long term.

How you will contribute

In your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. Without you, we would not be able to deliver high-quality snacks to our customers.

  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment

  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3

  • Leading line teams

  • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully

  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail

Objetivo del puesto: Supervisar y liderar las operaciones de producción en piso, asegurando el cumplimiento del plan de producción con altos estándares de eficiencia, calidad y seguridad, gestionando un equipo de aproximadamente 100 personas en un esquema de turnos rotativos.

Nivel: Supervisión Área: Manufactura / Producción Reporta a: Gerente de Producción Personal a cargo: ~100 personas Esquema de turnos: Rotativo mensual — 1er turno (7:00 a 15:00), 2do turno (15:00 a 22:30), 3er turno (22:30 a 7:00)

Responsabilidades:

  • Dar seguimiento integral al plan de producción, asegurando su cumplimiento en tiempo y forma.

  • Identificar e implementar mejoras para eficientar el plan de producción (reducción de tiempos muertos, optimización de recursos, mejora de OEE).

  • Coordinar arranques de línea, cambios de formato y paros programados.

  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de calidad, seguridad e inocuidad alimentaria.

  • Liderar, coordinar y desarrollar a un equipo de aproximadamente 100 colaboradores.

  • Dar seguimiento a temas de nómina: cierre de tiempos extra, control de vacaciones, permisos e incidencias.

  • Manejo de SAP para control y seguimiento de inventarios (materias primas, material de empaque, producto terminado).

  • Registrar y validar movimientos de inventario en sistema.

  • Aplicar metodología TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) en las líneas de producción.

  • Promover la cultura de mejora continua y resolución de problemas en el equipo.

Requisitos:

  • Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería en Alimentos, Ingeniería Química o afín.

  • 4 a 5 años de experiencia en supervisión en piso de manufactura, preferentemente en industria de alimentos.

  • Experiencia liderando equipos de alto volumen (+50 personas).

  • Manejo de SAP (módulos de inventarios).

  • Conocimiento en TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

  • Conocimiento en indicadores de producción: OEE, eficiencia, scrap, downtime.

  • Conocimiento en BPM (Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura).

  • Disponibilidad para rolar turnos.
