Job summary

Placements24 in Mexico is seeking a Digital Pedagogy and Active Methodologies Specialist to guide educators in modern, student-centered online learning. You will design and implement digital pedagogy, train faculty, and develop resources that embed active learning across online courses.

The role is fully remote within Mexico, collaborating with a global education team to advance pedagogical innovation and evaluate learning outcomes with LMS tools and analytics.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education, Pedagogy, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational development, instructional design, or teaching with a focus on digital pedagogy.
• Experience with active learning methods (project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, flipped classroom).
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and a range of educational technologies.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate pedagogical concepts into practical applications for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement innovative digital pedagogical strategies and active learning methodologies.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to educators on integrating technology and active learning into their courses.
• Develop resources, workshops, and best-practice guides for faculty on effective digital teaching.
• Evaluate the impact of implemented pedagogical strategies on student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and curriculum developers to embed active learning principles into online modules.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in digital pedagogy, learning sciences, and educational technology.
• Facilitate communities of practice for educators interested in active learning and digital innovation.
• Contribute to the strategic vision for digital learning and pedagogical innovation within the organization.
