Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Jefe de Proyectos de Construcción de Infraestructura to lead large-scale infrastructure projects in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with highways, bridges, water systems or public facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
• Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
• PE license or equivalent required.
• Experience with public sector clients and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closing of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Manage and mentor project teams including engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with clients, government agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
• Procure materials, equipment, and services for projects.
• Resolve technical, logistical, and contractual issues during execution.
• Ensure delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations.
