Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Receiving Inspection Supervisor to oversee the inspection of incoming goods, prioritize materials for inspection, and ensure calibration of equipment is completed on time.

The role leads recruitment, training, and development of the Receiving Inspection team, drives performance through coaching, succession planning, and clear metrics, and focuses on cost-aware process improvements and quality data harmony across the plant.

Qualifications

• Proficient in managing inspection processes and calibration records.
• Strong numerical abilities for figures, percentages, and measurements.
• Effective communication with managers, peers, and staff.
• Proficient PC skills and familiarity with Windows OS and related software.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview Receiving Inspection staff.
• Create and validate training curriculum for the team.
• Coach and mentor Receiving Inspection staff to deliver excellence.
• Create and manage succession plans for Receiving Inspection function.
• Establish measurable goals and monitor team results (operational metrics, timelines, attendance, training).
• Drive cost-reduction and process improvements in the area.
