Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Coordinador/a de Apoyo Psicosocial to join our client’s team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, MX. This on-site leadership role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychosocial support to individuals and families, promoting resilience and social integration.

The ideal candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, develop and evaluate programs, manage resources, and collaborate with community partners to ensure high-quality services in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social services or mental health, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience in program development, management, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of psychosocial support principles, mental health interventions, and crisis management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with diverse populations in the State of Mexico is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of psychosocial support programs.
• Lead and supervise a team of social workers, counselors, and support staff.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify community psychosocial needs and priorities.
• Develop and manage intervention strategies for individuals and groups experiencing stress, trauma, or other psychological difficulties.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality counseling, therapy, and support services.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement protocols for crisis intervention and emergency response.
• Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
• Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping and reporting; promote mental health awareness.
