Job summary

Orbia is seeking an experienced logistics supervisor in Tamaulipas to coordinate the raw materials and finished goods warehouses. You will ensure timely inbound and outbound operations, validate SAP records, and manage FIFO-based material movements.

You will oversee a team, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with Trafficking, Production, Quality and Finance to meet schedules and quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouses, inventory, inbound/outbound, and traffic logistics.
• Experience managing material reception, storage, and shipping.
• People management experience with unionized staff and shift supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate raw materials and shipping warehouse operations to ensure continuous receipt, storage and shipping.
• Ensure shipments program adherence by coordinating with Traffic, SOP, Production, Quality, and other areas.
• Oversee reception of materials, validate quantities, conditions, IDs, and SAP documentation.
• Guarantee inventory reliability and timely movement postings in SAP, applying FIFO.
• Manage invoice reception, review and forwarding to Finance for payment scheduling.
• Handle material returns for nonconforming specs with proper documentation and follow-up with involved areas.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries to Production, applying FIFO and packaging material requests.
• Supervise liquidation of consignments with proper reconciliation and recording.
• Oversee proper preparation, identification, handling, and loading of finished goods to prevent shipping errors.
