Job summary

Orbia Advance Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end material flow, including inventory, rail movement, and coordination with production and shipping teams. You will ensure timely access to raw materials and optimize unloading and storage processes within the plant.

The role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on meeting production targets and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between Production, Logistics, Shipments and S&OP under high inventory or acid capacity constraints to enable timely operational actions and production adjustments.
• Coordinate transportation according to sales schedule (soda, acid, hypochlorite).
• Plan and follow entry, unloading and retrieval of tanker trucks, coordinating activities to ensure timely raw material availability and unloading objectives.
• Monitor the unloading process performance, analyze deviations from set goals, and coordinate actions to recover the operating program.
• Track inventory and salt consumption from various supply sources, including material from Obregon, to provide visibility on availability and usage.
• Coordinate arrival, placement, movement and removal of tank cars and trucks within plant rail facilities, according to priorities and operational needs.
• Coordinate and monitor acid storage levels and capacity, anticipating additional storage requirements and communicating conditions to involved areas to sustain plant operations.
