The Opportunity

The NACH Contract Specialist provides end-to-end contracting support primarily to PepsiCo’s businesses and functions, with primary alignment to designated business or functional pillars, while also supporting other regions as applicable based on business needs and Global Legal Services priorities.

As part of Global Legal Services (GLS), the role combines day-to-day contracting responsibilities with broader contributions to global and cross-regional projects and initiatives, including contract standardization, process improvement, knowledge management, technology and AI-enabled solutions, and other efforts designed to improve the consistency, efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of legal services.

Your Impact
  • Provide end-to-end contract support primarily for businesses and functions, and other regions as applicable, including drafting, reviewing, revising, negotiating, coordinating, and supporting execution of agreements using approved templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
  • Independently manage routine and appropriate contracting matters, identify material legal and commercial issues, and elevate complex, non-standard, or higher-risk matters to the appropriate attorneys or subject-matter experts.
  • Partner with Legal teams, business stakeholders, Procurement, and other functions across supported regions to understand contracting needs, respond to inquiries, facilitate contracting processes, and build effective working relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant attorneys and other professionals to ensure transactions are appropriately structured and handled in accordance with applicable policies, contracting standards, and established ways of working.
  • Drive process excellence and continuous improvement by contributing to the development, harmonization, and maintenance of contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, contracting guidance, knowledge resources, and self-service solutions.
  • Contribute to Global Legal Services projects and cross-regional initiatives beyond day-to-day contracting, including standardization, knowledge management, process improvement, cross-training, legal technology, automation, and AI-enabled contracting initiatives.

  • Assist with contracting education, training, guidance, and knowledge sharing for business stakeholders and Legal colleagues.
  • Build capabilities beyond the specialist’s primary functional and geographic alignment through cross-training, knowledge sharing, and exposure to additional contract types, business areas, and regions, supporting a flexible and scalable Global Legal Services operating model.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve contracting processes and contribute ideas and solutions that enhance legal service delivery.
