Citigroup Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Rec & Proofing Analyst 2 to support daily reconciliation of ledger balances and preparation of reconciliation packages.

You will identify mismatches, analyze recurring issues, and help implement process improvements while ensuring timely reporting. This role requires 0–2 years of accounting experience with knowledge of US GAAP and related accounting principles, including risk awareness and attention to compliance.

Formación

• 0-2 years relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or other accounting frameworks.
• CPA or commensurate local accreditation.

Responsabilidades

• Daily reconciliation of general ledger balances to the sub-ledger.
• Prepare reconciliation packages and identify/match exceptions.
• Analyze recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Monitor aged balance items and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Communicate with team, management and business partners.
• Support risk assessment and escalation of control issues as required.
