Jabil is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Intern in Mexico to participate in a 9-month rotational program. You will gain exposure to Lean Six Sigma projects and Jabil’s deployment approach, with the potential to advance to a new role within the organization after the rotation.

The program emphasizes education and development, including Bronze and Silver certifications, and rotation across multiple Jabil functions to understand operations and drive lean principles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support specific Jabil Lean Enablement & Consulting Group improvement projects.
• Support the Lean Maturity Assessment process.
• Support various divisional projects based on pull from Lean Divisional Directors.
• Support various Kaizen Events, learning and applying lean principles, systems and tools in value stream mapping sessions and kaizen events.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Rotate across multiple Jabil functions during the 9-month intern program to gain deeper understanding of operations and how to drive lean principles into different aspects of the business.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lean Six Sigma Intern will develop Lean expertise through an immersive, 9 months rotational program which provides significant exposure to Lean Six Sigma projects and Jabil’s deployment approach. Through this program, the Lean Six Sigma Intern will gain exposure across the company. The Lean Six Sigma Intern position is intended to be an entry point into Jabil. After the rotational period, The Lean Six Sigma Intern will be responsible for seeking out a new role within the organization, as business need and performance warrants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Supporting Activities:
   • Lead and support specific Jabil Lean Enablement & Consulting Group improvement projects.
   • Support the Lean Maturity Assessment process.
   • Support various divisional projects based on pull from Lean Divisional Directors.
   • Support various Kaizen Events. The Lean Six Sigma Intern will gain a deep insight into the Value Stream Transformation model by learning and applying lean principles, systems and tools in value stream mapping sessions and kaizen events.
   • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
2. 3. Education and Development:
   • Complete the Bronze Certification Coursework.
   • Participate in Jabil’s Lean Maturity Assessment and Silver Certification program.
   • Rotate across multiple Jabil functions in 9 months of The Lean Six Sigma Intern Program to gain a deeper understanding of Jabil operations and how to drive lean principles into various aspects of Jabil’s business.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Students from Industrial Engineering or related discipline preferred
• Project management and facilitation
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
