A data-driven executive search firm is seeking a Leadership Consultant & Sourcer to join its growing team and redefine how organizations identify and evaluate top leadership talent. The Leadership Consultant & Sourcer role combines the precision of research with the influence of consulting — ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and thrives at the intersection of analysis, storytelling, and operational excellence. Working closely with Partners and Executive Recruiters, this person will play a pivotal role in high-impact executive searches, building company landscapes, sourcing exceptional candidates, and generating actionable market insights.

This position requires strong business acumen and the ability to pivot seamlessly across multiple domains — from Product and Engineering to GTM, G&A, and Operations — while maintaining a deep understanding of talent, strategy, and organizational design.

What You'll Do
  • Search Strategy & Market Mapping:
  • Align with the Executive Recruiter on the search, translate client briefs and intake meetings into targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Partnering with the Executive Recruiter on each search, you will build structured, company-by-company target lists using the company’s systematic search methodology.
  • Identify relevant titles, functions, and archetypes that map to the client’s needs.
  • Continuously refine company lists based on calibration feedback and emerging insights.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Evaluation
  • Generate a steady pipeline of (often 10–15 ranked profiles per day per active search but this will change depending on the interest rate) using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools, and send targeted outreach emails
  • Evaluate candidate backgrounds for relevance, trajectory, and scope; categorize each as Gold (1), Silver (2), or Bronze (3) in our ATS.
  • Proactively identify sourcing gaps and propose pivots or new directions when lists aren’t yielding quality results.
  • Operational & Process Excellence
  • Maintain perfect sourcing hygiene in RF: up-to-date tags, accurate titles, deleted old data, and correct candidate rankings.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Assistant on each role to ensure search documentation, tracking sheets, and candidate tags are current.
  • Collaboration & Partnership
  • Join weekly client meetings to listen, learn, and absorb nuance for better calibration.
  • Partner with Executive Recruiters and Partners to refine search strategy and adjust approach as needed.
  • Contribute to crafting compelling job descriptions, outreach emails, and company decks.
What You Need
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sourcing or research (ideally in executive search, VC-backed tech, or fast-growth environments).
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills—clear, concise, and strategic.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and ChatGPT (also knowledge of RecruiterFlow, Juicebox, Crunchbase, and Contact Out is a huge plus but not a requirement).
  • Confidence, polish, and executive presence.

  • The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted) - EST.
