A global video game development company is seeking a Lead UI / UX Designer to lead and mentor a team across multiple projects. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Lead UI / UX Designer leads the discipline pod and owns interface quality, usability standards, and player experience across multiple projects and genres. This role combines hands‑on design leadership with mentorship, quality oversight, and cross‑discipline collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a pod of UI/UX designers across projects
• Define and maintain UI/UX standards, workflows, and best practices
• Review and approve UI/UX designs for quality and usability
• Collaborate with other department leads
• Communicate UI/UX intent clearly to internal teams and clients
• Ensure accessibility, readability, and scalability across projects
• Maintain high‑quality documentation and handoff processes

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring UI/UX designers
• Deep understanding of game UI/UX across multiple genres
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Experience working in co‑development or multi‑project environments
• Ability to balance creative quality with production constraints
• Proficient knowledge of industry‑standard UI/UX design tools
• Familiarity with collaborations and handoff tools used in game development pipelines
