Hitachi Energy is seeking a Test Technician Lead to perform laboratory testing, analyze results, and maintain quality records supporting our manufacturing operations.

In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with colleagues to investigate quality concerns, improve laboratory processes, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, delivering reliable products for a sustainable energy future.

Formación

• An associate degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• One to three years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance laboratory is preferred.
• Familiarity with common laboratory equipment, testing methods, and analytical techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices or relevant quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when testing, analyzing, and documenting information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine laboratory tests according to specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with appropriate guidance.
• Record test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and designated systems.
• Support investigations involving quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer concerns.
• Perform basic statistical analysis and prepare reports for review.
• Follow safety requirements, Good Laboratory Practices, and quality management systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
