Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Lead Engineer with deep expertise in observability, IaC, automation, and distributed tracing using Open Telemetry.

You will guide the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of observability solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across the organization. Formación

• 8-10+ years of experience in SRE, Observability, or DevOps with leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing and observability instrumentation.
• Proven expertise with APM tools such as New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (IaC).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience managing Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with log aggregation platforms like ELK or Splunk.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategic development and management of observability and reliability frameworks.
• Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions with engineering teams.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform.
• Drive automation strategies for monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines.
• Develop observability roadmaps including distributed tracing, logging, and metrics.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, and pre-sales on solution design and customer engagements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability.
• Engage with vendors to evaluate and integrate observability solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and analysts.
