Qualcomm Semiconductores y Sistemas Avanzados de Baja California seeks a senior technical leader to establish and grow SoC Systems Validation Engineering in Tijuana. You will define validation direction, own silicon program delivery, and build a local team from a core group into a self-sufficient unit across pre- and post-silicon activities.

You will drive validation content, automation, and lab enablement, while recruiting, mentoring, and shaping the team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field with 6+ years of ASIC design/validation.
• Deep expertise in SoC/system validation, silicon bring-up, and debug ownership.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and hiring experience preferred.
• Strong C/C++ and Python on Linux; kernel or driver work.
• Proficient in English and Spanish for cross-site collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Own the system validation strategy for SoC programs from planning to exit reviews.
• Lead test content, debugging, and automation; hands-on leadership.
• Drive hardware/software co-debug across CPU, DDR, NoC and peripherals.
• Review architecture decisions from validation perspective; ensure observability.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to triage failures and regression.
• Hire, mentor, ramp up local team; partner with regional recruiting.
