EPAM Systems seeks a Lead JavaScript Engineer to drive the technical direction and hands-on development of large-scale React Native applications, with an iOS-first approach before Android expansion. You will mentor the team, guide architecture decisions, and ensure delivery quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading mobile projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with enterprise-scale apps and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Hands-on with React Native and Expo; TypeScript and JavaScript expertise.
• Experience with AWS and scalable backend integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile releases and security using Okta.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of large-scale React Native apps with an iOS-first approach.
• Set engineering standards, guidelines, and patterns for the mobile team.
• Coach engineers and guide architecture decisions, reviews and quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
