SimCorp seeks a Lead Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize Oracle databases, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance for clients. The role involves leading complex projects, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The position requires rigorous technical skills, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial tech environment in Mexico City with a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Oracle Database Administrator certification (preferred)
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Active Data Guard, performance tuning

Responsabilidades

• Lead management and optimization of Oracle databases to support business goals.
• Oversee installations, configurations, upgrades for minimal disruption.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, implement scale and efficiency improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert guidance to the team.
• Develop and test backup, recovery and DR strategies.
• Ensure DB security and regulatory compliance; manage access controls.
• Mentor junior DBAs and align solutions with client needs.
