The Lead is accountable for managing end-to-end processes for employee separations and leave/accommodation cases. This position ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, partners with third‑party vendors, and drives process improvements to deliver exceptional employee experiences and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team handling leave of absence (STD, FMLA, ADA, state‑specific leaves), accommodation requests, and offboarding processes.
- Oversee centralized offboarding for voluntary and involuntary separations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of all offboarding and leave‑related activities.
- Maintain accurate records in HR systems, including Workday and ADP.
- Collaborate with vendors to optimize processes and enhance employee experience.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce SOPs; lead process improvement initiatives and recommend policy updates.
- Analyze trends and generate insights for leave, accommodation, and offboarding data.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, and company standards.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and integrate updates into daily operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have US experience in leave of absence and Offboarding in US
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including offboarding, leave management, and accommodations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday and ADP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of federal/state leave regulations.
