KTSA – KPMG Technology Services Americas in Mexico City and Guadalajara delivers ITAM services for KPMG US and clients. This role manages day-to-day IT asset operations, acts as SME on ITAM programs, and drives process improvements across hardware and software assets.

The position requires 8+ years in IT asset management, strong project management, and proficiency with ServiceNow and discovery tools. KTSA offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with growth opportunities.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects within the Asset Management Lifecycle (Hardware or Software). The role will need to apply understanding of ITAM best practices, subject matter expertise and previous experience to successfully manage a complex enterprise IT Asset Management program.

Responsabilities.

• Manage day-to-day processes and procedures to support ongoing operations of ITAM Asset Management
• Act in the capacity of a subject matter expert to support ongoing IT Asset Management projects
• Responsible for implementation of continuous process improvements
• Partner with Asset Owners to ensure Asset information is kept accurate and up to date throughout the lifecycle
• Research and manage implementation of business requirements and features as requested by business units
• Maintain and publish Asset metrics, create custom reports based on ITAM discovery knowledge and requestor specifications
• Provide ITAM Asset Management training
• Manage operational workload and priorities and ensure alignment with business needs
• Ensure issues are prioritized and managed for timely resolution

Hardware Asset Manager:

• Collaborate with Asset Owners to ensure Hardware Assets are re-harvested efficiently
• Collaborate with offshore resources to ensure Discovery supports the needs of ongoing operations

Software Asset Manager:

• Develop and implement a SAM communications plan
• Utilize the Flexera Network Management Platform (FNMP) software asset management tool
• Perform internal software audits to ensure software license compliance standards are being met

Requirements.

• 8 years Experience with managing IT Assets, through their lifecycle, with an applications development / systems integration background.
• In depth understanding of IT Asset management lifecycle processes and tools
• Experience with ServiceNow and Discovery technologies
• Industry Certifications: ITIL V3, IAITAM Certifications (including: CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM), PMP, Lean Six Sigma
• Strong project management experience with small and large projects, in a cross-functional environment
• Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
