Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Lead Front-end Developer to guide a team delivering high-quality, scalable web applications for Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V.

You will mentor developers, shape front-end architectures, and collaborate with UI/UX, back-end, and product teams to translate designs into responsive interfaces. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in front-end development with leadership experience, strong JS/HTML/CSS skills, and a passion for performance and accessible design.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Gulp.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust front-end architectures using modern web technologies.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to define and deliver features.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues, providing effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, advocating for their adoption when beneficial.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new front-end team members.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables for front-end tasks, ensuring timely completion.
