EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico seeks a Lead Front-End Developer to modernize tooling, accelerate CI/CD, and enable AI-assisted development across teams. You will remove workflow friction from local setup to production and coach engineers on best practices.

Requirements include 5+ years in JavaScript/TypeScript, expertise in React and Next.js, lead ownership for developer experience, strong CI/CD and tooling knowledge, performance optimization, and excellent communication with English at B2 level.

Formación

• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript in modern front-end ecosystems.
• Expertise in React and Next.js.
• Lead ownership experience driving developer experience or platform initiatives.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline expertise with build, test, and release automation.
• Advanced build tooling knowledge across bundlers and monorepos.
• Strong performance optimization for builds and bundles.
• Hands-on AI-assisted coding tools experience and governance mindset.
• Excellent communication for documentation and enablement.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsabilidades

• Optimize the front-end development lifecycle from local setup to production.
• Diagnose bottlenecks in build, test, and deployment flows and fix them.
• Design and maintain shared front-end tooling, templates, and boilerplate.
• Standardize monorepo practices, linting, formatting, and dependency mgmt.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding tools with safe usage guidelines.
• Pilot and integrate AI agents and code-generation workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps to accelerate CI/CD and reduce build times.
• Improve bundle size, compile speed, and runtime performance.
• Document best practices and deliver training for new workflows.
