Descripción de la vacante

Nu México is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Computing Squad in Mexico City. You will work with critical infrastructure including Kubernetes, AWS, and service communications, helping shape our computing product strategy and defining high technical standards for the team.

You will lead and mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, and document decisions across stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid work model and the chance to contribute to scalable, cost-conscious

Formación

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Hands-on Kubernetes and AWS EKS expertise.
Experience with access management (IAM, roles).
Familiarity with scaling tools like Karpenter, KEDA and HPA.
Golang programming experience.
Mentoring and knowledge sharing with peers.
Strong English written and spoken communication.

Responsabilidades

Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, costs, and governance.
Act as a technical lead mentoring junior engineers to maintain high standards.
Represent the team in forums, documenting decisions for stakeholders.
Anticipate issues and make design decisions to prevent them.
Delve into problems to find root causes and deliver long-term solutions.
Contribute to Computing product strategy with peers and Product Managers.
