albo, a leading Mexican fintech, is seeking an Accounting Lead to own financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls as it integrates a SOFIPO into the group. You will work closely with executive leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to shape the accounting function.

You will oversee month-end and year-end closes, prepare journal entries, and standardize policies across the group while driving improvements through automation and process design.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years in accounting within Banking, Fintech or regulated institutions.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF; IFRS and CNBV reporting.
• Proven experience leading close, audits, internal controls and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Experience supporting M&A or post-merger finance transformation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF; support IFRS and CNBV reporting.
• Coordinate external/internal audits and prepare audit support.
• Lead accounting integration of the newly acquired SOFIPO.
• Standardize policies, procedures and chart of accounts across the Group.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify automation opportunities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Operations and Product on initiatives.
• Act as accounting SME and mentor junior team members.
