Maersk in Mexico is seeking a procurement and vendor management professional to drive local buying strategies, maintain global support for tenders and develop new vendors with focus on improving GP margins for services quoted locally.

Responsibilities include agile methodology adoption, pricing/quoting for LCL customers, vendor performance management, updating local rates in global rate cards, and participating in cross-department projects to reduce costs or improve performance.

Responsiblities

• Method & practice Agility: Leverages Agile method elements in approach practices by preparing user stories, defining, selecting, and deselecting product features to deliver product vision outcomes
• Pricing / Quotingfor LCL customers ( Spots , Tenders, Small BCOs)
• Vendor management /create performance management routines, create buying strategies, improve GP margins for services quoted locally
• Maintain local rates updated in global rate cards, maersk.com GTM
• Participate in ad hoc projects within the Delivery/ CX department that may result in a reduction of operational costs or performance improvement.
