Job summary

Ford Mexico is seeking a results-driven MP&L Supplier Management professional to strengthen supplier relationships, drive on-time delivery, and optimize total cost of ownership across North America. You will lead supplier readiness, audits, and performance improvement within SAP MM and related systems, traveling to supplier sites as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in OEM/Tier1, strong data analytics, and hands-on experience with Ford MP&L tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management or Business Administration; Master's preferred.
3+ years of experience in OEM or Tier1, automotive industry preferred.
Deep knowledge of SAP MM module.
Experience with Ford MP&L systems (CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV preferable).
Strong knowledge of supplier development, delivery performance KPIs, and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure clear communication.
Lead training for suppliers on Ford’s ERP SAP MM module.
Monitor supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct Launch Readiness reviews with suppliers for new model programs.
Provide onsite MP&L support and supplier readiness documentation.
Travel to supplier and plant locations as needed.
