Live Launch Operations Project Manager

The Opportunity

The Live Launch Operations team ensures Netflix Live events are set up and executed flawlessly for members around the world. As our Live slate expands in scale and complexity, the operational impact of this role grows significantly.

As a Project Manager supporting Live events, you will oversee the setup, configuration, and successful execution of each event. This includes managing workflows, ensuring data accuracy, validating the end-to-end experience, and driving cross-functional clarity throughout the launch pipeline (pre and post-event). Real-time decision-making is a critical part of this job, especially when unexpected issues arise.

We are looking for someone who can move quickly, anticipate potential challenges and collaborate effectively across many teams. You will operate at the center of how Live events come to life for Netflix members.

Core Responsibilities

• Event and Execution excellence: Own the entire process of configuring and launching Live events. You'll ensure that all elements come together smoothly, especially with the most challenging complexities/uniqueness that may arise with every new event.
• High-Velocity Communication and Clarity: Provide timely, concise communication that keeps partners aligned. Set clear expectations, drive quick decisions and be seen as the reliable go-to contact with a strong understanding of Netflix’s tools and workarounds.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify risks early, create mitigation plans, and partner closely with teams to resolve issues quickly when needed.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the Launch Operations point of contact for Event Program Managers, Creative teams, Engineering, Innovation Operations, Broadcast Ops, and more.
• Workflow and Tooling Improvements: Collaborate with the Program Manager and technical partners to evolve workflows and tooling that support a growing Live slate.
• Operational Standards and Knowledge Sharing: Share learnings and continuously improve processes across the team.
