PPG Industries in Mexico is seeking a highly motivated LATAM Finance Operations Supervisor to lead costing and inventory activities across manufacturing operations in Latin America. You will partner with manufacturing and business leaders to drive financial excellence and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in cost accounting or FP&A within a manufacturing setting, advanced Excel, and Oracle ERP experience. Hybrid in-person and flexible remote Fridays are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, Inventory Accounting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading projects, processes, or teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

• Lead costing and inventory accounting activities across Latin America manufacturing operations.
• Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, standard cost calculations, and annual cost roll processes.
• Analyze manufacturing and inventory variances, including: Material usage variances, Purchase Price Variances (PPV), Labor variances, Production efficiency variances, Inventory revaluation impacts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to costing and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Cost Accounting & Financial Control

• Lead costing and inventory accounting activities across Latin America manufacturing operations.
• Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, standard cost calculations, and annual cost roll processes.
