UL LLC in Querétaro, Mexico, seeks a laboratory technician to set up, operate, and maintain testing equipment for customer testing. You will execute test plans, evaluate performance, and interpret results while documenting data in UL datasheets.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and instructions, communicating with customers, and providing feedback for process improvements. Candidates should have higher secondary education and strong teamwork and MS Office skills.

Formación

• Higher Secondary Education required; three years of related experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for professional interactions with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory and specialized test equipment to support customer testing.
• Execute test plans and datasheets in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Evaluate test performance, analyze sample operation, and interpret test results.
• Record observed and calculated data, completing test reports and UL datasheets.
• Examine customer samples, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions to ensure correct test execution.
• Communicate with customers during test setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation and understanding of test methods and results.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Management on testing issues, laboratory procedures, and improvement opportunities.
• Build, modify, or adapt test setups and equipment to meet new or changing testing requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Train and support other staff on specific test methods and equipment setup.
• May plan tests, direct staff during test setups, and provide professional opinions and interpretations of results.
• Apply continuous improvement concepts to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall lab performance.
