Outpost QA, a startup in Mazatle1n, Sinaloa, is seeking a Junior Manual Tester to join our QA-focused team. You will conduct manual testing of web and mobile apps, document defects, and work with international teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of QA experience, basic SDLC knowledge, and familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. We offer growth opportunities, competitive pay, and a supportive environment for learning new automation skills.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and bug life cycle.
• Using test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation in databases.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Intermediate/advanced English (B2 or higher) for communication with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform assigned test cases and ad hoc assignments.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Test products based on predefined quality assurance standards.
• Run tests on physical devices and emulators/simulators.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum) and collaborate with development and product teams.
• Meet deadlines and deliverables.
