Outpost QA, a startup in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, is seeking an Automation Tester Level 2 to own automation tasks across multiple product areas and work closely with senior engineers to deliver stable releases. You will design and implement automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, contribute to framework improvements, and help raise the engineering quality bar in a fast-paced QA environment.

• 3+ years in software testing or QA with 2+ years in automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clear test plans and defect reports.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing concepts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API apps using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and LLM-powered frameworks to accelerate test creation.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to report defects clearly.
• Analyze test failures and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Produce clear test reports documenting results and risks.
• Contribute to ongoing testing process improvements and best practices.
