KION Group IT is hiring a junior database administrator to design, install and maintain database systems while ensuring data security. You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with developers and admins, and support migrations across platforms.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in CS/IT or 2+ years as a DBA, with experience in Oracle or MS SQL Server and Azure cloud knowledge. Hybrid work and a collaborative environment are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or 2+ years DBA experience.
• Minimum 1 year in database administration or similar role.
• Experience with backup, DR planning, performance tuning and security.
• Knowledge of Oracle/MS SQL Server; PostgreSQL a plus.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills; good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, install, configure and maintain database systems with monitoring and tuning.
• Ensure data security, access controls, backups and recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot issues in database management software and provide quick resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers, admins and end-users to maintain databases.
• Prepare documentation and support database migrations across platforms.
