British American Tobacco México is seeking a Junior Data Analyst in Monterrey to support BI development and data modeling across business units.

You will build Power BI dashboards, maintain Microsoft Fabric semantic models, monitor dataset refreshes, and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable analytics.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 1–2 years of experience, with advanced English and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, BI, CS, IS, engineering, maths, statistics or business analytics.
• 1–2 years in data analytics, BI, reporting or related analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken.
• Power BI experience including report development, basic DAX and data modeling.
• Basic to intermediate SQL for data analysis and validation with relational databases.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure or cloud data platforms; familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the maintenance of Microsoft Fabric semantic models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Monitor dataset refreshes, identify data issues, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI team members to understand reporting requirements and support the delivery of analytical solutions.
• Development in Power BI dashboards.
• Support users by investigating reporting issues, responding to enhancement requests, and providing guidance on BI solutions.
• Assist with BAU activities, including issue tracking, documentation, and operational support tasks.
