Job summary

AspenTech, a global software leader, seeks an Associate Application Engineer to support the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of software applications for utility customers across LATAM. You will work with senior engineers to deliver reliable interfaces and custom applications that support critical operational processes.

You will develop interfaces using APIs, file exchanges, and databases, and contribute to software components in Python, C, C#, and Java while learning

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience in software development, application support, or system integration.
• Knowledge of Python, C, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and data exchange concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of software applications and integrations for utility customers.
• Develop interfaces between external systems using APIs, file-based exchanges, databases, and messaging technologies.
• Develop and maintain software components using Python, C, C#, and Java.
• Assist in gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
