Princess Cruises is seeking a hospitality-minded team member for our Restaurant department aboard our ships. You will greet guests, deliver food and beverages, and maintain elegant service standards to ensure memorable onboard experiences.

The role requires guest-focused service, knowledge of menus, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. English fluency and POS proficiency are essential for success aboard our fleet.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant service experience from four-star hotel or cruise ship.
• Knowledge of food, beverage and wine menus used throughout the fleet.
• Able to explain pricing, food, wine, and cocktails to guests.
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Necessary computer skills and knowledge of POS systems.

• Observes guest preferences and adjusts service accordingly.
• Assists the waiter to set up tables and maintain service stations to standards.

• Follows all company guidelines and USPH protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides a positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming individual greeting; always maintains a clean and professional appearance.
• Nurtures a lasting connection with every guest by always showing genuine interest during service and remaining fully engaged throughout the voyage.
• Always observes and identifies guest preferences and adjusts service accordingly, anticipating guest’s needs and offering appropriate responses without the guest having to ask.
• Assists the Waiter to create a comfortable, elegant ambiance by always preparing table settings and maintaining service stations in line with all Company standards.
• Assists the Waiter to deliver food and beverages as requested, on time, in the correct service order, follows up to ensure each guest’s needs have been met and suggests solutions to any issues.
• Always follows all Company guidelines, policies, and procedures, including USPH protocols.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Graduate of a recognized Catering / Hotel Management School preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant service experience from four-star hotel or cruise ship
• Knowledge of food, beverage and wine menus used throughout the fleet
• Able to adequately explain pricing, food, wine, and cocktail menus to guests
• Ability to work under pressure, in both Front and Back of House areas
• Necessary computer skills and knowledge of P.O.S. systems
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written
