Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer/AI specialist to develop and maintain data pipelines, AI-ready datasets, and AI applications in cloud environments. You will work with Python, LLMs, and RAG, deploying on AWS and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions.

You will also contribute to documentation, testing, and agile delivery while expanding expertise in Generative AI and cloud services. This role supports remote work across Mexico.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, AI, or related technical roles.
• Experience developing solutions using Python.
• Good understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3, Lambda, Bedrock, ECS, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, or similar).
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search for knowledge-grounded AI.
• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar.
• Fluent English level.
