Ford Motor Company in Mexico is seeking an enthusiastic software engineer to collaborate with architects and product teams to translate designs into working Ford and Lincoln brand site features.

You will build software delivering user stories, write unit and functional tests, and work with Product Managers and Product Owners in an Agile, CI/CD environment. A background in React and Spring Boot and fluent English are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2 years experience in React / Spring Boot.
• 2 years experience in web development.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools and techniques, and automated build / release solutions.
• Good understanding of design and Agile processes, culture, best practices, and techniques.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with architects, anchors and product teams to understand relationships between features on Ford and Lincoln brand sites.
• Develops software that delivers user stories contributing to valuable working software for Ford and Lincoln brand sites products.
• Develops unit tests with working software to confirm functionality according to requirements.
• Develops functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and detect regressions.
• Partners with Product Managers and Product Owners to prioritize deliverables with business value and continuous improvement mindset.
• Participates in CI/CD, security practices and monitoring activities (Dynatrace, etc.).
• Engages in Agile practices: stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, journey mapping.

You will collaborate with architects, anchors and other product teams to understand the relationship between various aspects of corporate sites and eCommerce platform, works hands-on with team members to resolve questions, clarify designs, and deliver products.

• Develops software that delivers user stories that contribute to a valuable working software for Ford and Lincoln brand sites products.
• Develops unit tests with working software, to confirm software functionality according to functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develops functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects.
• Collaborate directly and continuously with Product Managers and Product Owners to prioritize deliverables geared towards a business and user value-driven approach with a continuous improvement and innovative mindset.
• Participate in highly collaborative practices, including:
• Agentic Development
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Security practices (SAST/DAST)
• Use of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (Dynatrace, etc.)
• Engage in Agile practices including, but not limited to, Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and journey mapping.

• Minimum 1 years Experience as AEM / AEM Cloud developer and frontend web technologies
