Dover is seeking an entry-level quality inspector to perform in-process and final quality analyses and inspections in our global manufacturing environment. You will interpret measurements and ensure products meet established specifications, working under standard procedures.

The role emphasizes routine work, close supervision, and learning through established methods, instructions, and checklists to support safe, compliant production operations.

Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.

A Support 1 is an entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. Responsibilities typically include: Work is routine or follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
